Benefit Options
We offer a valuable benefits package to support you and your family. As a new employee, you will need to enroll in the following benefits.
You must enroll for benefits within the first 31 days of employment. For example, if you are hired on February 11, you must enroll by March 13 to have coverage. If you don’t enroll within your first 31 days, you will have to wait and enroll during the annual Open Enrollment period (usually held in the fall).
Medical
With a Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • A high-deductible medical plan through Aetna. Includes prescription drug coverage and a Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Stimson makes an annual contribution to your HSA based on your pay and the medical plan coverage level you elect. If you are a new hire, Stimson will contribute to your HSA once you are benefits eligible and annually thereafter.
  • You and Stimson share the cost. Review the Health Care Premiums.
Vision
  • Vision coverage through EyeMed.
  • When you enroll in vision coverage, you’ll also be enrolled in dental coverage.
  • You and Stimson share the cost. Review the Health Care Premiums to see your share of the cost for dental/vision coverage.
Dental
  • Dental coverage through Moda Health.
  • When you enroll in dental coverage, you’ll also be enrolled in vision coverage.
  • You and Stimson share the cost. Review the Health Care Premiums to see your share of the cost for dental/vision coverage.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • The FSAs are administered by PayFlex.
  • Participate in a Health Care FSA to save money on your eligible health care expenses if you don’t enroll in the Stimson medical plan.
  • Participate in a Dependent Care FSA and set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible child care and elder care expenses.

Note: If you enroll in the Stimson medical plan with HSA, you cannot have a Health Care FSA.

Note: Under the Affordable Care Act, employers are required to provide employees a written notice about the Health Insurance Marketplace. The Stimson medical plan meets the mandated affordability and coverage standards as outlined in the required notice.

Benefits Enrollment At Any Time

You can enroll in Voluntary Life/AD&D at any time.

Voluntary Life/AD&D

Purchase additional group term life/AD&D insurance coverage for you and your eligible dependents at group rates.

  • If you enroll yourself or eligible dependents within 31 days from your date of hire, you have guaranteed issue (no EOI required) for the following amounts:
    • Employee coverage up to $100,000
    • Spouse coverage up to $30,000
  • If you don’t enroll when you are initially eligible, EOI is required for any coverage amount.

UltiPro

Username: STMSN plus 6-digit clock number. If clock number is less than 6 digits (e.g., 1234), add zeros to ensure a total of 6-digits: STMSN000123.

Eligible Compensation

Your total salary or wages paid to you as shown on your W-2, excluding fringe benefits, reimbursements or other expense allowances, moving expenses, deferred compensation, welfare benefits, overtime, bonuses, commissions and amounts in excess of your annual base compensation.

Your weekly wage or salary just prior to the date of disability; it doesn’t include bonuses, commissions, overtime pay or other compensation.
